  1. Hello. I have this Nikko Land Shark with some problems. I think the remote is broken. I found a resistor blown, it was R3 position, i've put a 100k SMD resistor (from some schematics I've figured out this could be). I think that the signal is incorrect. I will put some links with photos. The board is TP6680. It's based on 8A977W chip.

    1. The remote controller with the c.i. 8A977 (2000s years onwards) is not correct.
The Nikko Land Shark is a toy from the early 90s. I don't have it but it must use the c.i. C1059CA. You can see it at https://reparar-cochesrc.blogspot.com/2015/12/emisora-nikko-con-codificador-c1069c.html

You must use a remote controller with the c.i. C1069 with two turbos ("turbo and sw4" in the picture).

  2. Look what I've found for sale: https://www.kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/landshark-kettenfahrzeug-nikko-ferngest-vintage-sammler-bastler/2840126316-234-4844
Looks like it's the same remote as mine.

    1. If your toy is the Land Shark car from the 90s, you must use the remote in this picture: https://ibb.co/k6pGWcJ

The other Land Shark car looks like a re-release from the years >2000 and probably has different electronics with the TX6 circuit that has 7 functions. This remote would not be compatible.
Here you can see the different Nikko remotes over time: https://reparar-cochesrc.blogspot.com/p/emisoras-y-decof.html
